Estimates
The customer answers every line. Nothing gets done without a yes.
Send the estimate as a link. The customer says Yes, do it or Not now to each line, types their name, and the shop sees the answer.

Bay 01
What the customer sees
- Each line has two buttons: Yes, do it and Not now.
- Every line shows its hours and rate, or its quantity and price, with the shop's note and the photos tied to it.
- Lines that come from an inspection are grouped by how soon they matter: Needs doing now, Worth keeping an eye on, and Passed.
- Work sent out to a specialist shop says so, at the price they quoted.
- The total follows the lines marked Yes, do it, tax included. A line marked Not now comes off the total, and the page says by how much.
Bay 02
How they answer
- They type their name and press Authorize Work. Or they decline the whole estimate.
- If every line is Not now, the page says so before it sends: it tells the shop they do not want any of the work.
- The answer is recorded with the name and the date. The link takes one answer. To change it, the shop sends a new estimate, a new version with its own link, and the record keeps both.
Bay 03
Sending it
- Making an estimate never sends it. Someone at the counter checks it first, then presses Send.
- It goes by email, or by text to a customer who said yes to texts, from your shop's own number. Print it for the counter if you prefer.
- The link opens for 90 days after the last send. Send again and it opens afresh.
- One reminder text to a customer who has not answered, after the number of open hours you choose. It is off until you switch it on, and it goes only to a customer who said yes to texts, between 8 am and 8 pm shop time.

- When the lines still match what the customer approved, the invoice uses the figures on that estimate.
