How to use it
- Answer every point. A blank point is not a pass.
- Mark Needs attention for something to watch, and Needs repair now for something that should not wait.
- Write what you measured on the note line. A tread depth or a pad thickness lets the customer decide.
- Anything marked Needs attention or Needs repair now becomes a line on the estimate, so the customer sees it beside its price.

Questions shops ask
What is a multi-point inspection?
A quick check of a car's tires, brakes, fluids, filters, belts, lights and underside, each point answered.
How many points should it have?
This one has 32 on a car. Scarab OS adds points for a ¾-ton pickup and for medium and heavy trucks.
What do the answers mean?
Good is fine; Needs attention is something to watch; Needs repair now should not wait; Does not apply is for a point the vehicle does not have.
Is it a DOT annual inspection?
No. This is the shop's own courtesy check. The DOT annual inspection has its own list.
